Spring in the desert is a beautiful thing- spring blooms, lush greens, and of course, often times- RAIN.

As spring arrived, we were itching to get another inventory shoot under our belt- so many new pieces we wanted to showcase.  The beauty in vintage rentals is that they can be used and styled to fit a wide variety of diverse themes and special events.  Based in the high desert, we figured it only fitting to showcase the outdoor magnificence of Western Colorado.

At a most picturesque spot near Colorado’s National Monument, overlooking the Grand Valley, we designed a light, spring tables-cape to showcase the beauty of the natural elements.

3 Leaf Floral masterfully put together a centerpiece and bouquet foraged entirely from florals local to Western Colorado.

Due to the subtle colors of the high desert, we selected furniture with rich tones to contrast, but still fit the overall feel of desert chic.  Cat Mayer Studio perfectly captured the essence and character of our pieces.

GJ Cakelady Creations created a remarkable cake variety that we styled a top of our vintage brass candlesticks. And you better believe they tasted as wonderful as they looked!

Yearlong mild climates in Western Colorado make it an ideal location for weddings, however, the afternoon showers that are naturally part of spring often make outdoor plans a bit trickier- in our case, an adventure.  But nonetheless, we got some lovely shots, which ultimately made the day a success…and we had some fun in the meantime.

Jami Davis Films wonderfully crafted a short film depicting our creative process and can be seen here.
